Purim + Boundaries Webinar Recording
Purim can bring up so many emotionsβjoy, pressure, exhaustion, expectation. Itβs a time of giving and connection, but also a time when personal boundaries can feel blurry.
In this class, Rena creates a calm, thoughtful space to explore what it means to set boundaries with kindness and empathy. How can we honor our own needs while also showing up for those around us? How do childhood experiences shape the way we handle expectations today? And what does it look like to navigate these moments with clarity instead of depletion?
Through the lens of Purim and Esther HaMalka, we explore:
πΏ Listening to your body as a guide for setting boundaries in all relationships
πΏ Balancing personal needs with family and societal expectations
πΏ Understanding childhood experiences and how they shape the way we say yesβor noβtoday
πΏ Holding space for others (children, spouses, in-laws) while staying true to yourself
πΏ Trusting your own insights, even when well-meaning help doesnβt actually feel helpful
πΏ Parenting with empathyβvalidating your childβs emotions while still providing structure
Participants described the class as calming, empowering, and deeply relevant to navigating not just Purim, but relationships in general. Many walked away feeling more peaceful, inspired, and hopeful, with practical tools to approach family interactions with compassion and self-respect.
