When Focusing becomes Tefillah
When I’m overwhelmed about something I need and can’t figure out how to get — I Focus.
Not to strategize. Not to plan.
I invite my body in. I listen to what’s actually going on underneath. I get clear on what I really need, and what’s blocking me from receiving it.
And something happens in that process that I can only describe as tefillah.
Because by the time I’m done, I’m not white-knuckling a request anymore. I’m holding something clear and true that I can hand over to Hashem.
Whether it comes through in a way I think it should or some other way entirely, that’s His.
What would it feel like to hand things over to Hashem from a place of softness rather than desperation?
Supporting your sensitivity,
Rena
