How to Manage NOSH on Purim
Three years ago, I hosted a panel discussion that continues to resonate with so many women. It’s the recording I receive the most positive feedback about, and with Purim around the corner, I wanted to invite you to watch (or listen) and gain from it as well.
Our topic? “How to Manage NOSH on Purim”—a conversation filled with insight, honesty, and practical wisdom.
I was joined by Esti Asher, Gila Glassberg, and Yaffi Lvova, and together, we explored the real struggles and questions that come up each year:
How do we navigate the abundance of junk food—especially when Purim in Yerushalayim falls on Erev Shabbos (as it did that year, and this year it’s on Friday everywhere else!)?
Is trading nosh for money a good idea, or does it send the wrong message?
Should we set limits on what our kids eat, or let them learn from experience?
What about our own struggles—sneaking nosh when no one’s looking, feeling out of control, or wrestling with what to do with the leftovers?
If you’ve ever found yourself asking these questions, this conversation will speak to you.
I hope this panel brings you fresh perspectives and a sense of ease around Purim this year. And if it resonates, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Do you have a sister or friend who you think might appreciate this? If so, please forward her this email. Thanks!
Wishing you a Purim that feels joyful and aligned,
Rena
