Lack of connection = lack of flow

We are social beings. That’s not a nice sentiment — it’s a nervous system fact.

In order to thrive, we need a sense of connection in order to feel safe. When we’re surrounded by people who give us a sense of safety, a sense of community, a sense of belonging — that’s what enables us to actually tap into our values and our greatest aspirations.

This is what allows us to actually take the next steps forward in whatever we’re building.

When we don’t have access to that, we start to drift into dysregulation. And when we’re in those dysregulated states, that’s one reason things start to go awry in our businesses.

For practitioners: this is core nervous-system literacy worth understanding with clients who isolate themselves or who frame needing people as a sign something is wrong with them.

For self-employed women: needing people is how you were built — and once you understand that, the blocks that have been showing up in your business start to make a very different kind of sense (cents).
