But understanding it in your head is different from feeling it in your body.
So this week I recorded a practice that helps you identify exactly what YOU need to feel truly heard and understood.
Most of us say “I just want to be heard” without knowing what that actually means for our unique system. Does being heard mean eye contact? Nodding? Reflecting back your exact words? A certain tone of voice? Something else entirely?

This practice helps you move from vaguely saying “I need you to listen to me” to being able to say exactly what you need: “I need you to listen by gazing into my eyes” or “I need you to reflect back what I’m saying” or whatever YOUR system specifically needs.
