The slowness paradox
I was stuck for years using modalities that should have worked. Approaches that helped other people. Things that made total sense.
But I wasn’t moving.
Then I found something that made me slow way, way down. Sit with sensation. Stop trying to get anywhere. Just be with what was actually happening.
And that’s when things finally shifted.
Here’s the paradox, though: the practices that require the most slowing down create the fastest transformation.
Because when you’re rushing toward “better,” you’re interrupting something. Your body has its own wisdom, its own process. But you only hear it when you stop long enough to listen.
Can it be scary to slow down? Yes. Can it be overwhelming to not know what’s coming? Absolutely.
But when someone finally stops rushing and just stays with what’s actually here – sensation, not story – you watch things move that have been stuck for years.
I leave you with this question to slooowly ferment: What would it be like to stop trying to get somewhere and just be with what is?
Supporting your wholeness,
Rena
