Mindful Body Exploration
In Rena’s guided somatic mindfulness practice, we start by simply breathing deeply, allowing our breath to flow naturally without force. We then shift our focus inward, scanning our bodies until we find a part that calls for attention. With loving compassion, we delve into that space, exploring its sensations and boundaries with gentle curiosity. We let go of the sensation and observe its outline, noticing its shape and texture. Gradually, we expand our awareness to encompass the space around it, breathing deeply to connect with our entire being. Moving through each sensation, we observe without judgment, allowing ourselves to be fully present in the moment. This practice nurtures a profound connection with our bodies, fostering a sense of peace and alignment within ourselves.
