Compassionate Self-Reflection
Rena led us through a gentle somatic mindfulness practice, guiding us to connect deeply with our bodies and emotions. As we took in deep breaths, she encouraged us to slow down and feel supported by our surroundings. We checked in with our bodies, acknowledging any emotions present and exploring where we felt them physically. Rena reminded us that uncomfortable feelings signal unmet needs and invited us to compassionately connect with those parts of ourselves. It was a safe space to express our needs and ask for support, as Rena guided us to reflect on and communicate our feelings. Through this process, we found comfort in knowing that our needs could be met with compassion and support by Hashem in every moment.
